The cup design is based loosely around old style china, with an organic, bark twist. As you can see from the design, It replicates a tree trunk.
The cup design itself is a classic porcelain look and feel, hence the reason that china plates reference was chosen.

Introducing Our New Cups
As of last week we have been rolling out our new, eco-friendly cups to replace the old ones.
Our new cups are 100% recyclable, made from potato skins - and the lids are made from corn! This is all part of our current drive to become more eco-friendly, and we will be launching other recyclable products soon.
